Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in pediatric home healthcare, is
looking for a dedicated Pediatric Transport Licensed Practical
Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This role focuses on providing
top-tier medical care during the transportation of pediatric
patients from their homes to medical facilities and vice versa. The
ideal candidate will have expertise in pediatric care, strong
clinical skills in a dynamic environment, and the ability to make
swift, informed decisions. Our LPNs ensure the safety and comfort
of the patients while adhering to strict medical protocols and
communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Assess patient
conditions and prepare patients for transport. Administer
prescribed medications and interventions accurately and safely.
Monitor vital signs and perform interventions to maintain the
patient's health during transport. Document the patient's condition
and nursing needs accurately. Communicate effectively with
healthcare team members and emergency response teams. Ensure
compliance with healthcare regulations and standards during
transport. Educate and support the children's families on
healthcare needs as appropriate. Strong pediatric care knowledge
Ability to operate medical transport equipment Excellent assessment
and diagnostic skills Proficiency in the use of medical software
for documentation Strong communication and interpersonal skills
