Job Description:

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to oversee the daily operations of the unit while ensuring the highest level of care. The CNC will facilitate efficient and effective departmental operations, including staff management, patient care, and compliance with medical and safety protocols. This role is pivotal in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting the CVICU team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Manage nursing staff and delegate duties to ensure optimal patient care. Monitor patient care for quality assurance and continuity. Address and resolve staff and patient concerns quickly and efficiently. Develop and implement training programs for all new hires and ongoing staff development. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes and efficiency. Manage patient records and documentation accurately and securely. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in clinical protocols and facility guidelines Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions under pressure Compassionate patient care with a commitment to ethical medical practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
