Job Description Emergency Veterinarian – Orlando, FL $200,000 Base Salary | Independent ER | 3-Day Work Week An independently owned emergency hospital in the Orlando, Florida area is seeking an experienced ER Veterinarian to join its established 24/7 team. This role is well suited to a clinician looking for clinical independence, strong team support, and a sustainable schedule within emergency medicine. About the Hospital Independently owned and veterinarian-led, with a leadership team experienced in ER medicine Modern, purpose-built emergency facility designed for smooth workflow Fully equipped with in-house laboratory, digital radiography, and ultrasound Strong focus on high-quality patient care rather than corporate metrics Well regarded as a referral partner by local general practices The Role You will be responsible for providing emergency and critical care to companion animals, working alongside a highly skilled team of technicians and support staff. Key Responsibilities Assessing and managing emergency and urgent care presentations Performing emergency surgical procedures as needed Utilising in-house diagnostics to support rapid and accurate decision-making Communicating clearly with pet owners and referring veterinarians Maintaining thorough and accurate clinical records Collaborating closely with technicians and nursing staff on every shift Candidate Profile DVM or equivalent qualification Eligible for licensure in Florida Prior experience in emergency or urgent care preferred Confident clinical decision-maker with strong communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency setting Compensation & Benefits Base salary starting at $200,000 Monthly production bonus (21–23%) Sign on bonus Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Continuing education allowance DEA and state licence fees covered Professional liability insurance Paid parental and family leave PTO and sick leave Relocation support available
