Job Description Job Description Job Title: TIG Welder Pay: $30 - $38 an hour Location: Lakeland, FL Job Description We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder specializing in stainless steel to join our team in Lakeland, FL. The position offers flexible shift options to suit your preference, including 5am-1pm, 7am-3pm, or 12pm-10:30pm. The role involves performing TIG welding operations on stainless steel components, focusing on small-batch production runs and semi-finished assemblies. Responsibilities Carry out TIG welding operations on stainless steel components for small-batch or limited production runs. Interpret welding instructions and technical documentation to ensure components meet quality and efficiency standards. Prepare, adjust, and verify welding equipment according to procedures, engineering drawings, and quality requirements. Complete assigned tasks within prescribed timelines and production targets. Conduct routine upkeep and basic servicing of tools and measuring devices, reporting complex maintenance needs. Operate industrial handling equipment safely, including cranes and load-securing equipment. Inspect incoming and completed parts for quantity, dimensional accuracy, and quality. Essential Skills Experience with stainless steel TIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency in welding techniques and sheet metal work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Problem-solving skills with the ability to apply technical expertise. Result-driven and focused on meeting customer expectations and quality standards.
