active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Physical
Therapist role is available serving a K-12 school district in the
Tavares, FL area. This contract position runs through May 29, 2026,
with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, typically 8 hours daily
plus a 30-minute unpaid break. The role requires providing
therapeutic services across approximately 16 schools, supporting a
caseload of around 100 students spanning elementary through high
school levels. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy
services aligned with individualized education plans for K-12
students Collaborate with school personnel to support student
mobility and participation Manage a caseload distributed across
multiple school sites, adapting to changing schedules as needed
Complete required documentation, timesheets, and procedural
agreements promptly Participate in district-specific onboarding and
credentialing processes to obtain necessary work authorization
badges Qualifications & Experience: Valid professional license in
physical therapy Experience in school-based physical therapy is
strongly preferred but not mandatory Ability to communicate
effectively with students, families, and educational staff
Willingness to undergo district orientation and comply with
credentialing requirements Location: On-site work across multiple
schools in the Tavares, FL area, including elementary, middle, and
