Job Description:
Purpose: Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of
parts, attachments and accessories. Assist the Aftermarket Manager
in maintain accurate, timely reports, work orders and records
relative to the parts and service department’s daily operation. In
addition, performs in-store customer service, overall
organizational promotion, and stocking duties. BILINGUAL PREFERED.
Responsibilities: Look up and ordering of Parts for John Deere
equipment using JDPOINT ordering system & PMPRO catalog system Look
up and ordering of Parts for Other Vendors using their website
catalogs Sells & orders parts required to fill customer needs using
PFW business system Promotes and sells products and/or services to
meet customer needs Supplies Service Technicians with parts as
required Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
Follows up on shortages in inventory and expedites issues by
reporting to the manager Fields internal and external customer
inquiries to the Service Department Opens work orders as directed
by the Aftermarket Manager/Lead or Shop Foreman and maintains
control until they are closed and invoiced Maintains daily and
reports all backorders on workorders to service manager. Maintains
Service Department and Parts Department filing and records
Maintaining a positive attitude while preforming daily task. Create
DPAC cases when needed to secure parts on work orders. Maintains
accessories and supplies and prepares replacement orders Check in
machine down parts for service department. Secure parts for work
orders and deliver them to the technician’s work area. Return parts
off workorders in a timely manner so the job can be closed out for
invoicing. Perform other related duties assigned by Managers.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: Basic data
entry/keyboarding skills Basic machinery knowledge Ability to use
the JD Pathways /John Deere Parts Catalog computer application and
Vendor Websites for parts look up and ordering. Ability to learn
PFW business system for invoicing, receipting and ordering parts
for customers Ability to work in a team environment Ability to lift
items weighing up to 75 lbs. High School diploma or equivalent
experience Fork lift license required
