This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a solid background in accounting and finance to make a significant impact on our business operations. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of month-end close processes and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities: Prepare and review month-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Coordinate with the finance team to complete budgeting and forecasting processes. Assist with tax audits and tax returns. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process. Provide input into department's goal setting process. Assist with the preparation of year-end audit schedules and documentation. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations. Liaise with our Controller to improve financial procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Proven experience with month-end close. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with accounting software and databases. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Be able to demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy. Passion for providing superior customer service.
