Overview of the Accounts Payable Supervisor Role: The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee and manage the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient invoice processing, assignment, and resolution in a high-volume environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and expertise in Excel to maintain smooth operations and timely invoice management. Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Supervisor: Oversee and manage the invoice assignment process, ensuring tasks are aligned with the queue. Monitor and track the status of invoices, including verification of assigned, completed, and new tasks. Proactively manage older invoices to ensure timely resolution. Supervise incoming purchase orders (POs) and non-PO invoices to maintain seamless operations. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while streamlining accounts payable (AP) processes. Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Supervisor Role: 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable management or supervision, with a proven track record of leading teams. Previous Healthcare or Medical Industry experience is required Comfortable with high-volume invoicing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Expertise in Excel, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously as an AP Supervisor.
